Facilitation_and_Training

Simply put:  We are experienced facilitators. Our approach emphasizes having a clear purpose and good process. We try to help people engage with the available evidence in a thoughtful and constructive way.  Our clients tell us that we are able to help groups of all kinds work through complex problems in a way that is flexible and easy to understand.

Technically speaking:  Getting from evidence to action planning often requires more than gathering data and writing reports.  It is often necessary to build interest and ownership around the action plan by engaging people as active partners in the process.  We often facilitate planning sessions and community forums where people react to existing evidence and build upon it to create viable, innovative ideas for action. We also run a wide variety of workshops related to program design and evaluation. We have provided both introductory-level and more advanced educational sessions on topics such as developmental evaluation, performance measurement, and community impact analysis. We run workshops on these topics and more for a wide variety of audiences at universities, conferences, and community meetings.
