At Taylor Newberry Consulting, our work is guided by five key principles.
1. We believe that research and evaluation are only useful to the extent that they are used. The research process needs to be accessible and meaningful to people so that the findings have real implications for individuals, organizations, and communities.
2. We believe that research and evaluation is of higher quality when it is collaborative. The research process needs to be shared, governed, and driven by people who stand to benefit from its use.
3. We believe that high quality research projects use multiple methods of inquiry. Quantitative and qualitative approaches reinforce and inform one another.
4. We believe that knowledge exchange is a core purpose of a good research project. Research findings need to be shared with organizations and community members in ways that they can understand and use.
5. We believe that high quality research and evaluation depends on strong relationships, open communication, clarity of roles, and accountability to one another.
