Kamaria is a Research and Evaluation Consultant at Taylor Newberry Consulting. She has conducted research in various subject areas including community health, education and housing. Her most recent projects include an evaluation of tenant supports during capital repairs for Toronto Community Housing, and a feasibility study for an innovative housing solution for precariously housed youth in the Greater Toronto area. She has experience working with government, private and not for profit organizations, and understands the varying needs of these clients. Kamaria is passionate about building strong communities, in particular focusing on doing this through food; food literacy and food justice. Kamaria is dedicated to this through actively working in her community as well as working with professional associations to promote food literacy and education in the classroom.
